Our office prepares civil and criminal appeals in both state and federal courts, including appeals of right, interlocutory appeals, certified questions, petitions for habeas corpus, and petitions for writs of certiorari. We have also presented appeals before state administrative boards. The appellate process requires attention to detail, an ability to navigate confusing rules of procedure, and most importantly, research and writing skills that not all attorneys naturally possess. O’Shaughnessy & Carter, PLLC has the experience and resources necessary to recognize, brief, and argue complex appellate issues and present cases on behalf of appellants or appellees.
